What the terms do spell out is how bonus money behaves once it lands in an account. Real funds are wagered first; any bonus balance – including winnings generated from it – is used last, and while a bonus is active, gameplay is automatically restricted on games that don't count towards it.
What you give up in exchange
Every bonus type carries its own wagering requirement, and they are not small. A no-deposit bonus needs 40 times the amount wagered before any withdrawal is possible, and whatever is left in the account after a successful withdrawal from it is automatically removed. Deposit coupons ask for 15 times the combined deposit-plus-bonus total, and are only valid for 7 days after redemption – one code, once, per deposit.
Free spins come with a hard ceiling: winnings are capped at $50 unless stated otherwise, wagered 40 times before a withdrawal is allowed, with anything above the cap wiped from the balance once it's paid. A bonus classed as "low-wagering" is one where the combined requirement sits under 3x the deposit and bonus together – worth checking for, since it's the one shape that clears fastest.
What runs regularly
Cashback is the closest thing to a recurring offer in the terms: only clean lost deposits from the last 7 days count, credited amounts need to reach at least $10, and Instant Cashback carries a 20x wagering requirement with a maximum cashout of five times the cashback itself. Several game categories – baccarat, craps, pontoon blackjack, roulette, sic bo and live dealer titles among them – don't contribute towards wagering on deposit coupons, and progressive jackpots are excluded from bonus play across the board unless stated otherwise.
The terms that cost the most
The detail most likely to surprise a player is what Blaze Spins calls a Qualifying Fund Action. On no-deposit and low-wagering bonuses, finishing the wagering requirement does not lift the restrictions on its own – they stay in place until the balance drops below $1 and a new deposit is made or a fresh bonus claimed. On deposit-linked bonuses, the original bonus amount is never withdrawable at all: it's deducted from the balance before any payout goes out, a structure sometimes called a "sticky" bonus.
Mixing funds is prohibited outright – no new deposit, bonus or free offer can be claimed while another is still active, and the balance has to fall under $1 first. Delaying free spins, leaving oversized bets on the table after clearing wagering, or building an in-game edge to cash out are all treated as bonus abuse. Players in 20 named countries, including Belarus, Croatia, Estonia, Kazakhstan and Kosovo, cannot receive or cash out bonus winnings at all, and five further countries face restrictions on specific promotions.
A reality check before opting in
None of this means a promotion is worthless – it means the number on the banner is the smallest part of the story. Read the wagering multiplier against the amount you'd actually be depositing, work out whether the excluded games matter to how you play, and decide with the small print open, not the offer alone.
